Sophomore Sabine Schulz was named Mountain West Conference Player of the Week |

SALT LAKE CITY - Utah sophomore Sabine Schulz has been named the Mountain West Conference Player of the Week after her performance against Brigham Young last Friday.
Schulz finished the match with 12 kills and no hitting errors on 19 attempts, good for a career-high .632 hitting percentage. She also had 12 digs and two blocks.
With BYU ahead in game two of the match, Schulz took over, taking the lead back for the Utes, who went on to win the game and the match. She hit for .727 and had six digs in game two alone.
On the week, Schulz averaged 4.00 kills, 4.00 digs and 0.67 blocks.
