SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah volleyball team looks to snap its two-match losing streak as it comes back home to Crimson Court. The Utes are 6-4 this season and face No. 12 Oregon tonight in a crucial non-conference match.
As the fifth coach in school history, Beth Launiere has compiled a 397-216 (.648) mark in over 19 seasons at Utah, the only school in which she has been head coach. After taking over in 1990, the three-time AVCA West Region and MWC Coach of the Year has 63 percent of the program's victories over the first 34 seasons.
The Utes are 4-0 at home this season and have won 13 consecutive matches within the friendly confines of Crimson Court since Sept. 13, 2008.
