SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah volleyball team saw a pair of its members honored by the Mountain West Conference today, being named to the MWC Scholar Athlete team.

Representing Utah are Lacey Lavarias, and Kathryn Lovell.

To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition for their athletic team.
