"We were pretty average through the first two games, but in the third and fourth we picked it up and played better," Head Coach Beth Launiere said.
Senior All-America candidate Kim Turner finished with a triple-double - 20 kills, 13 digs and 10 blocks - to lead Utah. She hit for .467 on the night. "Kim has the ability to hit in a lot of different sets," Launiere said. "She is a very talented player and came into the match very focused."
The Utes host San Diego State at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 18. "This is a big match tomorrow," Launiere said. "We just have to take it one game at a time. Every conference match is tough, so we can't focus on our overall record. We just want to keep winning."
