Elizabeth Ferris has been selected to represent Utah at the Riviera ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif. on Tuesday in the Round of 64.

SALT LAKE CITY - Elizabeth Ferris of the University of Utah women's tennis team will be representing the Utes at the Riviera/ ITA All-American Tournament in Pacific Palisades, Calif. on Tuesday.
Ferris, ranked No. 79 in the preseason rankings by the ITA, will compete against No. 56 Cristina Visico of California in the Round of 64. Competition will begin at 11:00 a.m. PT
Head Coach Megan Dorny is excited for the junior's opportunity to play in the competition. "The All-American is a great tournament and one that Utah is excited to have some representation at this year," says Dorny. "Being able to attend a tournament like this one is not just a reward for hard work and a high national ranking, but also an opportunity to play some of the best in the country and compete at the highest level that college tennis has to offer."
The Riviera ITA All-American Championships is one of three national collegiate tennis championships this season. This prestigious competition features the top players from NCAA Division I women's tennis. The qualifying rounds will be held from Oct. 3-4, with the main draw competition beginning on Oct. 5. The finals will be played on Oct. 8.
