University of Utah women's tennis players Liz Ferris and Emily Kwok were named to the 2005 All-Mountain West Conference Singles Team.
Ferris, native of Anaheim, Calif., led the Utes this year, playing primarily at the No. 1 singles position. She compiled an 18-12 overall record and a 14-9 mark in the dual season.
Kwok joined the Utah squad in January from Richmond, British Columbia. She immediately impacted lineup and settled in at the No. 2 position. Kwok compiled a 14-11 singles record in her first season.
The Utes finished 2005 with a 14-3 overall record. The women's tennis team placed 5th in the Mountain West with a 3-4 conference mark.
