THIS WEEK: The University of Utah women's tennis team plays host to Weber State on Sat. Feb. 5 at the Eccles Tennis Center at 5:00 p.m.

REVIEWING LAST WEEK: The Utes traveled to Bozeman, Mont. last week to play Montana St., Northern Colorado and the University of Montana. Utah swept all three matches, defeating Montana St. 7-0, Northern Colorado 5-2 and Montana 7-0.

The women's tennis team advances to 4-2 on the season.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: Weber State opened the season with a 7-0 loss to No. 25 Brigham Young University on Jan. 15.

Last weekend, the Wildcats dropped two matches at a tournament in Las Vegas, Nev. falling to New Mexico St. 7-0 and the University of Nevada, Reno 4-3.

QUOTING HEAD COACH Megan Dorny: "We are looking forward to competing in our first home match of the 2005 season on Saturday. Being 4-2 coming off of two road trips is a positive for our team, and last weekend's decisive wins in Montana have been a boost of confidence for our young team and has really set the tone, I hope, for the rest of the season."

"After losing to Weber for the first time last season, we are really looking forward to playing them at home this year. We are demonstrating a lot of talent at each of our spots this year and are showing considerable depth in our singles line-up. We are looking forward to the match."
