This Week: The University of Utah women's tennis team will kick off its 2003 season at home against Montana State and Saint Mary's. The Utes will take on Montana State on Friday, Jan. 24, at 3:00 p.m. On Sunday, Jan. 26, they will take on Saint Mary's at 11:00 a.m. Both matches will take place at the Eccles Tennis Center.
Utes To Watch: Junior Cassie Kasteler will be starting the season with a regional ranking of No. 20 and will look to have a strong performance at the season opener. Junior Sheri Esrock nicknamed "The Rocket" for her big forehand will also look to start strong.
Quoting Head Coach Megan Dorny: "We are excited to begin our season at home hosting Montana State and Saint Mary's," states Dorny. "We will look to have our more seasoned players in the top three of the line-up."
Coming Up:
The Utes will continue their home stand with Boise State on Sunday, Feb. 2 at the Eccles Tennis Center. Competition begins at 11:00 a.m.
