Senior Sheri Esrock advanced to the quarterfinals of the singles consolation bracket but lost out to Hana Kraftova of Missouri.

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team finished the fourth day of the ITA Central Region Championships held at the Eccles Tennis Center.

In singles play, senior Sheri Esrock loses out to fourth ranked Hana Kraftova of Missouri (6-1, 6-1) in the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket.

The tournament concludes Sunday Oct. 26 with all final rounds. At 9:00 a.m. Jessica Vanderdys of Colorado matches up against A. Dybicz of Arkansas in the consolation finals. Gitte Osterman of Nebraska takes on Anda Perianu of Oklahoma at 10:30 a.m. in the finals of the singles main draw. Maja Kovacek and Sandy Lukowski of New Mexico team up to face Daniela Muscolino and Ilona Somers of Tulsa in the doubles main draw finals at 1:00 p.m.
