Senior Sheri Esrock downed Patricia Chien of Wyoming to advance to the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket. Esrock will play Saturday, Oct. 25 at 9:00 a.m. in the Eccles Tennis Center.

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team completed the third day of the ITA Central Region Championships held at Eccles Tennis Center.
In the singles main draw, freshman Whitney Eber fell to seventh ranked Yanick Dullens of Denver (6-4, 6-1).
In the consolation bracket, senior Sheri Esrock defeated Patricia Chien of Wyoming (6-4, 7-6). Esrock advances to the quarterfinals.
Competition continues Saturday Oct. 25 with the quarterfinals of the singles main draw at 9:00 a.m. and the doubles quarterfinals at 3:00 p.m. Esrock takes on Hana Kraftova of Missouri in the consolation quarterfinals at 9:00 a.m.
