PROVO, Utah - The University of Utah women's tennis team finished the BYU Invitational and the Weber State Open on Saturday. At the BYU Invitational, Sheri Esrock and Ellen Svensson lost to BYU's Macfarlane/Schneider (9-8) in the doubles back draw finals. Meanwhile, Maria Svensson lost to ISU's Carol Tolsma (6-4, 3-6, 10-8) in the singles main draw semifinals at the Weber State Open.
Next on the Utes' schedule is the Boise Invitational. Competition for the tournament will start on Oct. 11, and end Oct. 13.
