DeLand. Fla. - The University of Utah women's tennis team defeated the Stetson Hatters 4-2 Wednesday, March 16.
Due to the threat of rain, no doubles matches were played.
Utah took the No. 1, 2, 4 and 6 singles to clinch the victory over Stetson. At No. 1, Liz Ferris beat Jackie Bohannon (6-4, 7-6, 13-11). Emily Kwok took care of her opponent Mili Milovanovic in three sets (6-7, 6-3, 6-1). Cheyenne Reveche defeated Marina Levin (7-5, 6-1) at No. 3 and Cinthia Saucedo battled back from behind to beat Anna Leonenko (2-6, 6-1, 6-0) at No. 6.
