Utes end a winning weekend with a 6-1 victory over Portland

Sophomore Emily Kwok earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory over her opponent from Portland at the No. 1 singles spot.

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team closed out the weekend with a 6-1 win over the University of Portland. Leading the Utes in singles was sophomore Emily Kwok at the No. 1 singles spot. Kwok had a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Lindsey Griffin from Portland. In doubles play, Elizabeth Ferris and Allison Hansen-Sine had a big win against Portland. The duo played at the No. 1 doubles spot to earn a 8-5 victory over Griffin and Kennel.
