SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team continued to dominate their opponents by defeating Montana State-Billings 7-0 in a home dual match.
With No. 67 Elizabeth Ferris and Emily Kwok sitting out for the dual match, Cheyenne Reveche competed at the No. 1 slot against Heidi Lehman from MSU. The Ute overcame Lehman for a 7-6(3), 6-0 win.
Andrea Maughan played at the No. 2 slot against Brianne Roney for a 6-0, 6-1 win. Jessica Carter and Jessica Watts both had big wins over their opponents from MSU. Carter, a freshman, played at No. 4 against Mollie McAlpine for a 6-0, 6-0 domination. Watts, a senior, played for a 6-0, 6-0 win over Victoria Fernandez at the No. 5 slot.
Playing in her first dual match for the Utes was McCaye Badger. After winning her doubles match with Watts at the No. 3 slot over Fernandez and Dix from MSU (8-0), the sophomore faced Jenna Baltrusch. The two played at the No. 6 slot for a 6-0, 6-1 victory in the Utes' favor.
