Six members of the University of Utah softball team were named to Pac-12 All-Conference teams, Commissioner Larry Scott announced Wednesday. Seniors Whitney Holm, Generra Nielson and Tia Palauni along with juniors Katelyn Elliott and Kelsi Hoopiiaina received Honorable Mention all-conference recognition. Kate Dickman represented Utah on the Pac-12's All-Freshman Team Honorable Mention list.

The University of Utah's softball team finished its inaugural Pac-12 Conference campaign with a 28-28 overall record and a 2-22 mark in league play.

In her last game at Ute Field, senior third baseman Whitney Holm connected on a pair of homers, but the University of Utah softball team came up short against No. 15/17 Stanford in its regular season finale on Saturday, 12-9.

Junior shortstop Kelsi Hoopiiaina went 2-for-3 at the plate for her third straight multi-hit game, but the University of Utah softball team fell to No. 15/17 Stanford 9-1 in six innings during the middle game of their Pac-12 Conference series Friday at Ute Field.
