At The Plate
The Utes travel to Albuquerque, N.M., to battle New Mexico in a league doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16. Utah will then go to Fort Collins, Colo., to face Colorado State in a doubleheader starting at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 18.

On Deck
The Utes return to Utah, but not to Salt Lake City for play, as they travel to Logan for a single game against Utah State on April 20 at 3:00 p.m. On Friday, April 23, Utah will host No. 19/20 Pacific in a single game beginning at 3:00 p.m. Saturday will showcase the Utah-BYU rivalry in a league doubleheader starting at noon.

The Last Time Out
Utah finished 3-1 last week. The Utes began the week with nonconference victories over Utah Valley State College (8-5) and Southern Utah (8-3) at Ute Field. On Saturday, Utah split its twin bill with BYU (4-5, 9-8), in Provo, Utah.

Quoting Head Coach Mona Stevens
"This is really a tell-tell weekend for us. We are playing doubleheaders on the road, but still have a great opportunity to pick up some wins. If we put our game together, we can move into second place in the conference standings."

Stevens Reaches 250th Career Victory
Head Coach Mona Stevens reached her 250th career victory on Saturday, April 10, as Utah defeated BYU 9-8 in the second game of the doubleheader. Stevens is in her eighth season at Utah.

"I haven't even thought about it to tell you the truth," said Stevens. "I don't follow those kinds of stats for me in part. I'm more concerned about the athlete's individual and team stats. I should thank the teams I've had for getting me the wins."
