Live Stats for This Week's Games:
A busy, six-game slate against Pac-12 Conference programs ranked among the top 20 in the nation highlights the Utah softball team's upcoming week.
The Utes travel to Tucson, Ariz., for a midweek three-game set at No. 13/13 Arizona, starting with a doubleheader on Tuesday at 5 p.m. MT, followed by a single game on Wednesday at 12 p.m. MT.
Utah hosts No. 19/15 Oregon this weekend at Ute Field. The three-game set starts Friday at 4 p.m. MT. Saturday's game will begin at 4 p.m. MT and the finale will be played Sunday at 12 p.m. MT.
The Utes are 23-12 overall this season after sustaining three losses to No. 1 California last weekend in their first-ever Pac-12 Conference contest at Ute Field. Utah is off to an 0-6 start in Pac-12 play after going 0-3 in a road series against then-No. 3/3 Washington on Mar. 23-25 in Seattle.

Cal Series Review: The Utes were swept in a three-game set by No. 1/1 California last weekend in their first-ever Pac-12 home series by scores of 10-0 (in five innings), 11-3 (in five innings) and 12-3 (in six innings). Utah senior third baseman Whitney Holm (Spanish Fork, Utah) and freshman outfielder Kate Dickman (Mission Viejo, Calif.) paced the Ute offense with three hits apiece in the series. Holm currently enjoys a team-high six-game win streak, while Dickman also led the team with two RBI against the Golden Bears.
Going Through Hoops: Hoopiiaina recorded three hits, scored two runs and stole bases in four home games last weekend at Ute Field against No. 15 Hawaii and No. 1 California. Hoopiiaina went a perfect 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts and also drew two walks to post a team-high .667 on-base percentage in the doubleheader. Hoopiiaina leads the team with 25 runs scored, ranks second with 34 hits and seven home runs. She is now seventh in the Pac-12 in steals, a perfect 11-for-11 on stolen base attempts this season. Defensively, Hoopiiaina is tied for sixth in the league with eight double plays turned in 2012.
Elliott Shows Her Power: Junior outfielder Katelyn Elliott (Spanish Fork, Utah) turned in her fourth homer of the season in the fourth inning of last game of the Cal series and she has five homers over her career. She has driven in 13 runs this season and has 19 RBI over her career.
In a Pinch: Freshman Marissa Mendenhall (Stansbury Park, Utah) connected on a pinch-hit double to left-center field in bottom of the fourth frame during the second game of the doubleheader against Cal. Mendenhall's ninth RBI of the year re-tied the game at three runs apiece.
