SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah softball team has lost its third straight game to weather.
The Utes' single game with Utah State set for 3 p.m. this afternoon has been postponed due to heavy snow in the valley. The two squads will reschedule the game for a later date.
Five of the last seven games have been cancelled or rescheduled because of weather. However, Utah still has two more games on tap for this week. The Utes open Mountain West Conference play when they host Brigham Young in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 2, at noon.
