After 10 days off, the University of Utah softball team returns to competition on a seven-game unbeaten streak.
The Utes resume play on Tuesday at in-state rival, Utah Valley. First pitch from Wolverine Field in Orem, Utah is schedule for 3 p.m. MT. Live stats will be found at utahutes.com.
The Mayfair Classic slate begins with a doubleheader in Fullerton, Calif., on Saturday as the Utes get a re-match with Idaho State at 11:30 a.m. PT, before taking on the host Titans at 2 p.m. PT.
The Utes conclude the event with another doubleheader on Sunday in Long Beach, Calif., starting against South Alabama at 11:15 a.m. PT and will conclude against Bethune-Cookman at 1:30 p.m. PT.
Aloha: After traveling to Honolulu, Hawaii, Utah begins the Chevron Spring Fling Tournament with two games on Wed., Mar. 20 against Syracuse (4 p.m. HT) and the host Rainbow Wahine (6 p.m. HT). The Utes then have a single game against the Baylor Bears at 2 p.m. HT on Thur., Mar. 14 before tournament play will decide the opponents for two games on Sat., Mar. 16. Although opponents and games are still to be determined, be sure to check back at utahutes.com to find out who the Utes will face on Mar. 16.
Last Time Out: The Utes were one of nine teams to escape the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., without a loss (California, Oregon, Northwestern, UCLA, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Washington and Missouri).
Utah accumulated a 4-0-1 mark with wins over Colorado State, Long Island, Nevada, Ohio State and a tie against Cal Poly.
