SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah athletics department has named assistant coaches Marianne Bullis and Kyle Magnusson interim co-head coaches for the 2006 softball season. Both Bullis and Magnusson were assistant coaches for the softball team in 2005.

Bullis, a former player for Utah, begins her fourth season on the coaching staff while Magnusson starts his second.

A search for a full-time coach will begin at the completion of the season.
