High School/Travel Ball: Three-year letterwinner in softball ... catcher in high school ... two-time all-state as well as league MVP in 2006... all-league and all-metro ... led Derby HS (Kan.) to three regional titles and to a fourth-place 6A finish in 2006 ... hit .500 with four home runs ... also lettered in volleyball and basketball.
