With the 2011-12 academic year in the books, Utah women's soccer takes a look back at its inaugural season in the Pac-12 Conference. After posting a winning record as a newcomer in arguably the nation's most elite women's college soccer conference last fall, head coach Rich Manning and his squad kicked off the spring exhibition season with a nine-day trip to Italy in March. All-in-all it was a terrific way to begin a new era in Utah soccer.

University of Utah women's soccer assistant coach Gabe Smart has announced dates for the upcoming Smart Soccer Clinics for this spring. These clinics are geared toward players interested in taking their game to the next level. The groups will consist of 4-8 players and focus on technical small group training. Clinics are open to any and all entrants ages 14-18.

The University of Utah women's soccer team announced its 2012 schedule Wednesday which includes eight home games to be played at Ute Field. The regular season will kick off on Aug. 17 with a neutral-site match against Utah State at Rio Tinto Stadium, the home of Major League Soccer's Real Salt Lake.
