PORTLAND, Ore. - The Utah women's soccer team takes on Colorado in the first round of the 2004 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship on Friday at 4:30 p.m. (PST) at the University of Portland's Merlo Field.

Utah is making its third consecutive NCAA appearance under head coach Rich Manning. The Utes won the Mountain West Conference Tournament last week and are 13-5-3 overall. Colorado is 14-5-2 and finished third in the Big 12 Conference this season. The Buffaloes beat the Utes 1-0 earlier this season on Sept. 12 in the Wake Forrest/adidas Classic.
