SALT LAKE CITY - Utah goalkeeper Lindsey Luke has been named the CollegeSoccer360 Primetime Player of the Week, as selected by CollegeSoccer360.com. It is Luke's second nod from CS360 of the season after being named to the Primetime Performer Weekly Honor Roll earlier this season.
The weekly accolade comes a day after earning Pac-12 Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Luke, a redshirt freshman from Corona del Mar, Calif., managed 17 saves on 39 total shots and allowed just one goal in wins against Washington State and Washington to take home Defensive Player of the Week accolades. She collected a career-high 10 saves and faced 23 total shots against Washington State on Friday, helping the Utes to a 2-1 overtime victory.
On Sunday, Luke notched her fourth clean sheet of the season, recording seven saves, including a number of acrobatic stops, on 16 total shots in a 2-0 win over the Huskies. She has amassed 44 saves in nine games, averaging 4.89 stops per contest. Luke ranks second in the Conference in save percentage (.880) and goals-against average (0.64) this season.
Luke and the Utes, who are receiving votes in the latest NSCAA national poll, host No. 2 Stanford on Friday at 2 p.m. MT, live on the Pac-12 Network.
