SALT LAKE CITY - Staci Burt, a three-time first team all-conference honoree with Ute women's soccer team, will be honored Sunday when 23rd-ranked and undefeated Utah hosts Saint Mary's at 1:00 p.m. Burt, a native of Salt Lake City and a graduate of Cottonwood High School, will also be available to sign autographs after the game.

Burt recently completed her second season as a starter with the Carolina Courage, which won the 2002 WUSA Founders Cup Championship. After a stellar 2001 season in which she was one of only four players in the WUSA to play every minute, she was called up to the U.S. National Team. She was the first U. soccer player to receive such an invitation. She was also one of 24 players asked to tryout for the squad that represented the U.S. in the 2001 Nike Women's Cup Tournament.

Burt, who played at Utah 1996-99, still holds the Ute career assists record (21) and is second in both goals (38) and points (97).
