Ute fans, celebrate! Audio streaming is back this season. |
Sept. 12, 2007
SALT LAKE CITY - All University of Utah's women's soccer home games will have an audio broadcast streamed via UtahUtes.com this season.
Links to live audio streams for soccer will be found in several places -- the front page of UtahUtes.com under the Events tab (choose the game you want and `listen') and on the sport page itself (choose the Schedule/Results tab, click on a game, and choose `listen' from the pop-up menu) are the two easiest ways to reach the webcasts.
Audio webcasts of Utah women's soccer games will be available through a partnership with Stretch Internet, which utilizes Apple's QuickTime player. Fans, parents, alumni and others wishing to listen to the Ute contests will need QuickTime on their computers. Apple's QuickTime Player is a free multimedia software program compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. The QuickTime download page will walk you through the necessary steps.
For any other technical questions, concerns regarding Stretch Internet and the University of Utah women's soccer broadcasts, visit Stretch Internet's Frequent Asked Questions page.
The Ute women's soccer team opens its home schedule Friday night, hosting Idaho State. Kickoff for Friday's home-opener is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Ute Field.
