SALT LAKE CITY - On Sept. 29, high school soccer players and their families are invited to experience Utah women's soccer up close. Participants will:
· Meet with an academic advisor to learn about the University of Utah.
· Meet with the Ute coaches to discuss our soccer team and opportunities in our program.
· Participate in a campus tour to view both athletic and academic facilities.
· Enjoy a pre-game meal with the team.
· Watch the Utes host Pepperdine at Ute Soccer Field.
If interested in participating in the Utes' Underclassmen Day, please refer to the information below to assist in arrangements. If you want to come earlier in the day and experience more of the campus, please let us know and we can arrange that. If you cannot make all of the activities, but would like to come for part of the day, let us know. We would love to see you here whenever you can make it!
Arrival: A 2:30 p.m. arrival is preferred so that you may enjoy a campus tour, visit with an academic advisor, and enjoy a pre-game meal prior to the 7:30 p.m. kickoff with Pepperdine. Players and families should park in the lot nearest to Ute Soccer Field and the Huntsman Center and meet us at the Burbidge Academic Center for student-athletes.
Pre-game meal: The pre-game meal with the Utes will be at 4:00 p.m. The cost for the meal is $10.
