SALT LAKE CITY - Kelly Isleib of the Utah women's soccer team has been honored as a third team Freshman All-American by Soccer Buzz online magazine.
Isleib, a freshman midfielder from Park City, Utah, started all 22 games for the Utes. She scored one goal and was third on the team with four assists. Isleib also contributed to Utah's defense that didn't allow a goal in conference play. She was honored as the 2006 Mountain West Conference Co-Freshman of the Year.
Isleib is the fourth Ute in the last four years to be named to the Soccer Buzz Freshman All-America team. Amande Feigt and Ashley Mason were both honored on the second team in 2003, and Adele Letro made the third team in 2005.
