Utah Head Coach Rich Manning
"This is a great start to conference play. Winning and getting three points is what we needed to do as a team. The first half was not our best and I think the wind played a factor too. We didn't have any rhythm and cohesion as a team, but we had a strong second half."
"We'll take it a game at a time. We are just focusing on next weekend. San Diego State and UNLV were two of the top teams in conference last year, and these games are going to be tough, championship games."
Utah Defender Melissa Wayman
"(Emily) Campbell and I had been connecting all spring, and she just played the ball in the right spot."
"We just need to focus on our priorities and stay healthy and focused to win on the road."
Utah Forward Amanda Feigt
"It is never easy to beat a defense at this level, but we had a slow first half, and something got into us for the second half. We're just going to take it one game at a time and that should help."
Utah Forward Kim Lloyd
"Nice to win. I wanted to get a goal bad with it being my last game, but I'll take the assist. Winning the game is what matters. It's bittersweet to play my last game here at home at Utah, but it was a nice way to end it on such a beautiful day and with a nice win."
