Utah (9-8-0, 3-2-0 WAC) hosts the Weber
State Wildcats, Tues., Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m. The game will be
played on Ute field. Following their WSU appointment, the Utes
travel to Texas to take on TCU and SMU. The Utes play SMU on
Fri., Oct. 31 at 3:00 p.m. The Utah-TCU game is scheduled for
Sun., Nov. 2 at 1:00 p.m.

WAC Tournament
After exhausting all tie-breaking
procedures, the Western Athletic Conference ruled a coin toss
would determine the Pacific Division's second seed into the WAC
Tournament. Utah won the flip and the No. 2 seed. San Jose
State got the third seed and Fresno State was No. 4.
Recent Results
Brigham Young defeated Utah in sudden
death overtime, 3-2, in Provo on Oct. 23. Scoring for Utah were
Aly Hill and Karen Boardman, with assists from Tara McNeil and
Becky Hatch.
Utes to Watch
Sophomore Karen Boardman scored her
fifth goal of the season against Brigham Young. The defender is
third on the team in goals and points (five goals for ten
points). Staci Burt leads Utah with 22 points (nine goals and
four assists.)
Opponent Information
Weber State is currently 13-3-1
and 2-1 in the Big Sky Conference. SMU has a 12-4-0 season mark
and leads the WAC Mountain Division with a 5-0-0 ledger. The
Mustangs are ranked No. 17 in the nation. TCU, also a member of
the WAC Mountain Division, is 8-9-0 (2-3-0 WAC).

"Weber State is always a
difficult game; they (the Wildcats) play us extremely hard. We
need to execute well and play organized. We had the weekend
off, so hopefully the team will be fresh. It will be great to
play SMU before the tournament. I am interested to see what
they are like and get a feel for them. Playing a top 20 team is
great for our record and the program. We are hoping to play
well against them and prove that we can contend with a ranked
team."
