Gritt Hofmann will return for another season in 2006.

SALT LAKE CITY -
Utah All-America gymnast Gritt Hofmann has qualified for a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA and plans to return for a fifth season. Hofmann competed on just one vault as a freshman in 2002 before a back injury sidelined her for the remaining of the year.
Hofmann concluded what she thought was her senior season in April at the 2005 NCAA Championships, where she earned first-team All-America honors on the floor exercise, placing 10th in event finals.
The 2005 regional floor exercise runner-up, Hofmann won the 2004 regional floor title. In 2003, she was named Utah's Most Improved Gymnast. The former German National Team member is a four-time gymnastics scholastic All-American.
