Scholastic All-American Gritt Hofmann competes for Utah's best academic team.

SALT LAKE CITY -
The gymnastics team carted off two major honors at the annual University of Utah Academic Awards Banquet. The Ute gymnasts were honored for posting the highest team GPA-a 3.57-over the last year. It marked the seventh consecutive year that the gymnasts have won the team academic title. In addition, the gymnastics team won the 2003-04 Community Service award for participating in the most community service projects of any Ute athletics team.
