SALT LAKE CITY -
Utah sophomore gymnast Kristina Baskett appears in Faces in the Crowd in the Jan. 29 issue of Sports Illustrated, which hit the newsstands today. Baskett was selected after she led Utah to victory against UCLA on Jan. 12 by winning the all-around with a career-best 39.60. She was also recognized for scoring a 9.90 on every event and placing first on vault, beam and floor (tie). The defending NCAA uneven bar champion placed second on bars in the meet against UCLA.
