Cameron Linford is in his fifth year as Utah's director of gymnastics operations. His responsibilities encompass various administrative aspects of recruiting, compliance, facilities, academics, marketing and team travel.

Linford's association with the Utah gymnastics program began in 1999 when he volunteered at home meets. In 2002, he became the team manager--a position he held for six years, through the completion of his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He was hired as the full-time director of gymnastics operations in 2007.

Linford's background in the sport includes coaching assignments at four local clubs: Missy Marlowe's Gymnastics, Gymnastics Training Center of Utah, Galaxy Gymnastics and Utah Youth Gymnastics. He worked at the Filpfest gymnastics camp in Tennessee in the summer of 2009.

Linford was a two-time All-America wrestler in high school, starring for four-time state champion Wasatch High School (Utah). He also played on the golf team, a sport he still enjoys. An avid runner, he was the age group winner in the 1988 and 1989 St. George Marathon. He now competes in triathlons.

The Midway, Utah, native earned two degrees from Utah--a bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science (2003) and an MBA (2007).
