Utah Women Host Northwestern Wednesday
The University of Utah women's basketball team is right back at the Huntsman Center on Wednesday, after hosting and defeating Montana State on Monday night.
The Utes will play a rare mid-week matinee Wednesday, hosting Northwestern in a Noon tipoff. The game is being broadcast on the mtn.
Utah is coming off a hard-fought, 66-63 win over Montana State Monday night and has climbed above .500 again at 6-5. Meanwhile, Northwestern was also in action Monday, dropping an 82-68 decision to Georgia Tech in Evanston, Ill. The Wildcats are now 6-6 on the season after the setback to the Yellowjackets.
Following the contest with Northwestern, the Utes will get some time off for the Holidays, before wrapping up non-conference play on Dec. 30 at Georgetown.

Barring a postseason matchup with a Big Sky Conference team, Utah went 2-0 against Big Sky opposition this season.

Wednesday's game is the last of a stretch of three contests in five days for Utah.
