SALT LAKE CITY - The 2007-08 University of Utah women's basketball season begins on Saturday with the first of two exhibition games in four days at the Huntsman Center.
The Utes host Montana-Western on Saturday at 3 p.m., and thenFort Lewis College comes to town on Tuesday for a 5 p.m., tip.
Montana-Western is fresh off of a 94-36 home win over Walla Walla University on Friday afternoon. It brings a 3-1 mark into the exhibition contest. The Fort Lewis Skyhawks have yet to begin their season. However, they too will have a game under their belt as they play an exhibition contest at Weber State on Nov. 5.
After the two exhibition games, Utah will begin its regular season with a two-game non-conference homestand. The first such tilt against UC Irvine is on Nov. 15, and tipoff in the Huntsman Center is set for 7 p.m.
