GURABO, Puerto Rico - Utah women's basketball newcomer Paige Crozon helped lead the Canada Junior Women's National Team to a fourth-place finish at the FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Women.
Crozon averaged 11.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game over five games.
Crozon opened the tournament with a four-rebound performance in a loss to Brazil in pool play but scored 18 points with six rebounds in a win over Puerto Rico. She scored 13 points with seven rebounds to help Canada close out pool play with a victory over Mexico.
In the semifinals, Crozon led Canada with nine points in a loss to the USA. She closed out the tournament with six points and two rebounds in the third-place game, a loss to Argentina.
