LONDON - Former Utah player Kim Smith scored 13 points to lead the Canada Senior Women's National Basketball Team as it fell in the quarterfinals to the USA, 91-48, to close out its run at the 2012 London Olympics.
Smith also had six rebounds for Canada against the USA. Shona Thorburn scored two points with three assists and two rebounds, while Michelle Plouffe played eight minutes, scoring two points off free throws.
Smith averaged 13.8 points per game for Canada over its six games in London, while Thorburn averaged 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Plouffe played in two games for Canada.
