Elaine Elliott will be featured on KUED Sunday night.

SALT LAKE CITY -- University of Utah head women's basketball coach Elaine Elliott will be featured on KUED Sunday night. Elliott will be the first guest ever on KUED's new show Utah Conversations with Ted Capener, which airs at 5:30 p.m. MST.
Elliott is fresh off a 27-7 season, which included a Mountain West Conference Tournament championship and a run to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship tournament. The Utes fell to eventual national champion Maryland in overtime in the Albuquerque Regional final.
Elliott also recently saw two of her seniors -- Shona Thorburn and Kim Smith -- chosen in the first round of the WNBA Draft. The duo marked the first-ever Utah players to be drafted by the 10-year-old professional league.
Elliott has been the head coach at the University of Utah for 23 seasons.
