Members of the Utah women's basketball team will be writing blog entries throughout the season. Today's entry is from Rita Sitivi.
Hello to all of our amazing Utah Basketball fans!
First off, thank you so much for all of your support. Playing in front of a passionate crowd is more motivation for our team to play well! Being in the Pac-12 is tough with such good teams, but our team, coaches included, have been working so very hard to ensure that we perform our best against all competition.
Our first conference game has come and gone, and we learned that we could be great this season, and have a shot at going very far. We aren't perfect, but Colorado put into perspective what we really need to work on - rebounding. There are other little things but we've been working hard on in practice to do better in this area. We have both Washington teams coming up this week and are stoked to have another shot at league opponents. It's all about knowing the players individually, and stopping their tendencies. Also, we need to rebound, and I am sure that we can put this one in the bag.
Once again, I thank you for all of your support for our team, and for everything that you all do for us. We work hard for our coaches, each other, and you fans especially!
Have a spectacular week!!!
