The University of Utah men's tennis team (4-0) downed Montana State and Idaho State Saturday in a double header at the Eccles Tennis Center. The Utes earned a 6-1 victory over the Montana State Bobcats, followed by a 7-0 sweep of the Idaho State Bengals. Junior Dmytro Mamedov earned the match clinching point against the Bobcats, while sophomore Ben Tasevac netted the deciding point against the Bengals.

The University of Utah men's tennis team (1-0) opened their 2012 season Saturday at the Eccles Tennis Center, netting a 7-0 sweep of the Weber State Wildcats. Freshman Ace Matias captured the match clinching point for the Utes, downing Peter Ramstromer Pello, 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 4 spot.
