Last weekend Utah hosted the University of San Diego. The Utes took an early lead capturing the doubles point sweeping the Toreros but came up short in singles. Senior Phillip Eilers earned Utah's second point in the match topping No. 100-ranked Nikola Bubnic, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. The Utes fell to the Toreros, 5-2.
After this week Utah will be on the road with matches against three conference opponents, New Mexico, Air Force and TCU. They will finish up their road dual matches with UT Arlington. The Utes will return home to see UNLV April 16.
