LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The University of Utah finished the second day of the ITA Mountain Region Championships at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
In the second round of singles, senior Roeland Brateanu downed Sean Margulis of UNLV (6-2, 6-0). Freshman Miron Mann fell to Richard Dasek of Brigham Young (6-4, 6-2). Peter Bjork of Colorado defeated sophomore Tomasz Grzyb (7-5, 6-4).
In the third round of singles, Brateanu fell to Nils Klemann of Boise (6-3, 6-2).
Competition continues Friday with one round of singles and two rounds of doubles. The tournament concludes on Sunday.
