SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's tennis team completed the final day of the Utah Invitational at Liberty Park Tennis Center. The Utah doubles team of Phillip Eilers and Alex Golding captured a win during the consolation doubles final round.

Eilers and Golding topped Amit Maharaj and Sven Poslusny of Utah State, 8-1, in the semifinal round. The Utah duo went on to defeat David Hintze and Cole Paterson of Weber State, 8-4, to take the consolation doubles title.

Freshman Dmytro Mamedov fell to Henning Hipp of WSU in the final round of consolation singles in three rounds, 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.

Up next Utah will travel Las Vegas, Nev. for the ITA Mountain Regional Championships Oct. 21-25.
