After an accomplished playing career for Utah, Trevor Ferguson is back for the 2001 season as the assistant coach. Ferguson, who played his junior and senior seasons at the U. after transferring from Weber State, used his last year of collegiate eligibility last season.
With the Utes, Ferguson was all-conference in doubles and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete All-American. He finished 2000 ranked No. 42 in NCAA doubles with current team member David Mercier. At Weber, he was named first team all Big Sky conference in both his freshman and sophomore years.
At the age of 23, Ferguson, a native of Sandy, Ut. is the teaching pro at the Sports Mall in Salt Lake City and is pursuing his bachelor degree in Accounting.
