The University of Utah golf team wrapped up the the Pac-12 Conference Championship at the Los Angeles Country Club Wednesday. The Utes posted a final team score of 1513 (358-371-393-391) to finish 12th.

The University of Utah golf team slid to 12th place after the second day of play at the Pac-12 Conference Championship at the Los Angeles Country Club. Sophomore Brandon Kida posted the Utes' best round of the day with a six-over 76.

The University of Utah golf team sits in fifth after day one at the Pac-12 Conference Championship. The Utes posted a team score of eight-over par 358 in the first round followed by a 371 in the second, for a first-day total of 729 at the Los Angeles Country Club.

The University of Utah golf team is headed to Los Angeles, Calif., to compete in the 54th Annual Pac-12 Conference Championship, April 29-May 1. The four-round tournament will be played at the par-70, 7,236-yard Los Angeles Country Club.

Junior Daniel Engle shot a one-under 69 to tie for second place while leading the Utah golf team to a seventh-place showing at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic Tuesday. Utah shot an even-par 280 in the final round, improving 28 strokes from Monday's opening-round 308 in the weather-shortened event.
