SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's golf team will compete in the inaugural Utah Collegiate Shootout hosted by Southern Utah University Oct. 17. The event will take place in St. George, Utah at the Sunbrook Golf Club.
The Field: Five teams will join Utah for this event, they include, Utah State, Utah Valley, Weber State, and co-hosts Dixie State and Southern Utah.
Last Week:The Utes traveled to Palm Springs, Calif. for the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. Utah finished in sixth place with a score of 887, 23-over-par. Derek Adams led the Utes with a fourth place finish shooting a score of 214, two-under-par.
