Steven Broker and the Utes head to Las Vegas Monday for the District 7 Shoot-Out.

This Week: Utah will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the District 7 Shoot-Out, Oct. 9-10. The lineup this week features Steven Broker, Nick Carter, Chris Gresh, Nicholas Larson and Dustin Pimm. Freshman Derek Adams will compete as an individual.
The Field: The tournament will be comprised of 15 teams, including Mountain West Conference schools Colorado State, San Diego State and Wyoming.
Looking Back on Last Week: Utah recorded its second strong finish in a row, placing second in the Wolf Pack Classic. The Utes shot a 287 in Tuesday's final round to end the tournament at 15-under-par. Dustin Pimm earned his second collegiate victory, carding a 73 on Tuesday to end the tournament at 11-under-par. Nicholas Larson continued to play well, scoring a 73 on the final round to finish at four-under-par and tied for ninth place. Joining Larson and Pimm in the top 15 was Steven Broker, who fired a blistering 68 to finish at two-under-par, tied for 14th place.
Ute Notes: Dustin Pimm's back-to-back rounds of 66 are his low for the season ... Three Utes are in the top 15 in the Mountain West Conference for stroke average: Dustin Pimm (70.11, 2nd MWC) Steven Broker (72.44, T8) and Chris Gresh (73.00, 13) ... Utah's average finish is fourth through three tournaments this season.
