Chris Gresh and Utah struggled in today's final round

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - The University of Utah Golf Team completed its final round at the Gene Miranda Invitational today. Utah scored a 298 (+10), to finish ninth overall in a field of 19. "We struggled today," said Coach Randall McCracken. "It was a tough one." The Utes came into the day at -4 as a team, and tied for fourth place, but fell apart down the stretch, combining to shoot +13 over the last five holes. "We closed very poorly today," said Coach McCracken. "We'll get back together tomorrow, dust ourselves off and go from there."
Steven Broker paced the Utes, firing a 75 (+3) in his final round, to finish ninth overall in a field of 95. Dustin Pimm carded a 74 (+1), finishing tied for 23rd place. Chris Gresh and Nick Carter both placed in the top 50 for the Utes.
