SUNRIVER, Ore. - Utah senior Garrett Clegg is eight-over-par and tied for 82nd place after the second round of the NCAA West Regional Golf Championships on Friday at the Crosswater Course at Sunriver Resort.
Clegg, who started the day seven-over-par, posted birdies on four of the first 13 holes to move to three-over-par for the tournament. However, he had three bogeys and a double bogey over the last five holes to finish the second round with a 73 (34-39). He has a score of 152 after 36 holes.
The 54-hole tournament concludes on Saturday. The top 10 teams and two other individuals will advance to the NCAA Championships from the West Regionals.
